The Hampstead Heath Mixed Pond is a natural swimming spot on North Londons Hampstead Heath, open to all genders. It is one of the three swimming ponds on the Heath and is renowned for its tranquil, wild swimming experience amidst a lush, wooded setting. The pond is fed by rainwater and natural springs, offering untreated, fresh water that changes with the seasons. It is particularly popular with outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy its unspoiled and natural feel. The Mixed Pond typically operates on a seasonal basis, usually open during the warmer months from spring to autumn. It is the only one of the three ponds where swimming is not available year round, unlike the Mens and Ladies Ponds. Facilities include a small changing area, and lifeguards are on duty during opening hours to ensure swimmer safety.
