Holywell Bay

Status: No water quality alerts in place


Holywell Bay Beach near Newquay is a rural sandy beach, approximately 1.2km wide, backed by cliffs and sand dunes. Exposed to large Atlantic swells, it is popular with surfers. There is a sewer overflow at the Holywell Road pumping station that discharges to the Holywell Stream approximately 400m from the beach.
