Hove Lawn, Brighton is part of the large seaside resort stretch of Brighton and Hove, it is a steeply sloping, pebble beach that flattens out to sand at low tide. A promenade with resort facilities backs the beach. The bathing water may be affected by a sewer overflow that discharges at nearby Brighton Pier.
