Kimmeridge Bay is part of the Purbeck Heritage Coast and is a remote, cobble beach approximately one kilometre wide and backed by cliffs. There are no sewer overflows discharging directly into Kimmeridge Bay, however a number of waterways flow through the surrounding urban areas before meeting the sea near to this beach and other discharges may affect bathing water quality here.
