A large, busy seaside resort beach, Skegness offers large expanses of sand backed by sand dunes and a promenade, seafront gardens and two boating lakes. A large pier runs down the middle of the beach. There are no sewer overflows discharging directly onto Skegness, however there are several in the nearby vicinity.
